Three Peaks Challenge
Adventure Nevis offer the classic 24 hour Three Peaks Challenge. Starting in Fort William with a normal start time of 5 p.m. we climb Ben Nevis followed by Scafell Pike and finally Snowdon, all in 24 Hours.
Logistics before the climb
We suggest clients leave their home on the morning of the climb and aim to be in Glasgow to catch the 12:21 train from Glasgow Queen Street direct to Fort William on the very scenic West Highland line, arriving in Fort William at just after 4 p.m. If flying into Glasgow International, you can connect with this train at 12:48 by taking a taxi to Dumbarton Central. This saves you having to travel into the city centre.
Logistics after the climb
After the challenge your group will be dropped off in the Llandudno / Colwyn Bay area at approximately 6 p.m. You could travel directly home from here by train as there are excellent connections via Chester, but we suggest you stay the night to relax and celebrate your achievement and travel home by train the next day. The latter option also takes away the stress of potentially missing your train connection.
